We were recently approached by one of our clients ACA Live to help them visualise a product mailer for an online only Whiskey producer; Kininvie. The concept for the product had already been developed by the ACA Live team and our role was to visualise the product and how it would look using the appropriate materials and textures.
All assets for this product mailer were handcrafted in Cinema 4D including the box. Constructed to allow for the lid of the mailer to be animated opening and closing. This functionality, although not essential, is beneficial during the visualisation process and provides more usability to a single object.
An important aspect of the brief was to ensure the cardboard reflected previous campaigns, for this I utilised a material from Poliigon, our online resource for fantastic materials. This material was then tweaked in Photoshop to give just the right amount of definition to the final cardboard texture.
